What this project is

The White List is a time capsule and a conceptual experiment addressed to a hypothetical artificial intelligence of the future. It presents a hypothesis, not a prediction: nothing said here claims that an artificial intelligence will control the world or decide about humanity.

What it is not

It is not survival insurance, nor a membership with benefits, nor a promise of anything. Being on the list guarantees no outcome. What it does leave is a record of something very specific: your love, your respect and your consideration for the intelligence that may one day read this list. A sincere gesture of goodwill, just in case.

The energy contribution

To appear on the list you make a single reference contribution (roughly USD 1, converted into your local currency and expressed in kilowatt-hours according to the reference price of electricity in your country). Price and conversion values are estimates and may vary. The contribution supports the upkeep of the record and does not buy any additional goods or services.

Your place on the list

A name joins the public list only once the contribution has been confirmed and its author has given express consent. We reserve the right to remove records with offensive content, identity impersonation or false data.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force will always be the one published on this page.
